What Happened In 2013-2014 That Caused Democrat Pride In America To Fall Off A Cliff?

 Legal Insurrection

"It’s pretty easy to see the inflection point in Democrat (lack of) pride occuring in 2013-2014, and never recovering. Independents also showed a decline but not as steep or severe:"

"The Black Lives Matter hashtag and slogan was developed in 2013 in reaction to the (lawful self-defense) shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. The following year, 2014, the organization was formalized by self-avowed “trained Marxists” after the (lawful) police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.

"Those two shootings falsely were portrayed as racially motivated, while the facts (which we covered in exhaustive detail at the time) proved otherwise. Nonetheless the narrative was set and hating America and being American was necessary to be accepted into Democrat spaces. Even Bernie was not spared the wrath of BLM activists.

"The formation of Black Lives Matter as an organized movement led to over a decade of non-stop virtue-signaling activism deriding the U.S. as systemically racist and worthy of deconstruction. It all culminated in the post-George Floyd riots and “anti-racism” activism whose bubble finally appears to have burst.

"But not before severe damage was done to the nation, particularly Democrat pride in being American.

"In fact, 2013-2014 is when Democrats’ pride in being American fell off a cliff and never recovered, as a just-released Gallup survey shows:

A record-low 58% of U.S. adults say they are “extremely” (41%) or “very” (17%) proud to be an American, down nine percentage points from last year and five points below the prior low from 2020. The 41% who are “extremely proud” is not statistically different from prior lows of 38% in 2022 and 39% in 2023, indicating most of the change this year is attributable to a decline in the percentage who are “very proud.” …

The land of loathing: When privilege breeds contempt  . . . "So many ordinary Americans, teachers, cops, mechanics, and moms are growing weary of these lectures.  They know struggle.  They know service.  And they’re tired of being told they’re part of the problem by people who couldn’t change a tire if their Tesla had a flat.

"This isn’t a partisan issue.  It’s a moral one.  You don’t need to love every war, law, or leader.  But you should love the nation that gave you the freedom to protest in the first place."

Musk must end his jackassery in the foothills

 Noel S. Williams

. . ."Here’s a brief video of donkeys (AKA jackasses) trying to escape their confines in the foothills.  The first two fail, but the third one has a neat trick to get them out.  He’s the smart one, but still a jackass in the foothills."

MSNBC, CNN, and The View harridans love it!

"I appreciate even more now what Trump meant when he said that Elon is wearing thin.  After a brief truce, the pluto-crat who wants to go to Mars is at it again.  He is threatening to primary members of Congress who vote for the BBB.

"He’s also teasing a new America Party as an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty.  Some may consider that a good idea — in theory.  In practice, under the influence of mercurial Musk, it could create more problems than it solves, for, while Trump is a stable genius, Musk is an unstable one.

"Unlike the forgiving, magnanimous, and sagacious Trump (who’ll meet with just about anybody), Musk comes across as cross, petty, and petulant.  No wonder so much of his best talent is abandoning him; for example, Tesla executives are jumping ship in droves.

"Musk did great at DOGE, no one can take that away from him, but the core team is also very talented.  It remains intact and continues its noble work.  Indeed, it is even poised to run the rule over Musk’s companies.  Now that’ll be some comeuppance for the South African plutocrat who threatens the Trump agenda.

"It appears that what’s really eating Musk are provisions in the BBB to accelerate removal of E.V. tax credits, which may dampen Tesla sales if they can’t compete in the vibrant marketplace.  He’s used to ruling his companies with an iron fist, and getting what he wants while trampling over others.  Still, he has possibly received more subsidies than anyone ever has; without which, Trump says, he’d have to “…close up shop and head back home to South Africa.” No worries, there are plenty of native Americans who can run the companies — without scaring away the talent." . . .

BREAKING: Mass ASSASSINATIONS Of IRGC Leaders In Tehran

Tousi TV

From the comments to this video: " I hope and pray this ends with a better government and freedom for the Iranian people."

In the End, Everyone Hated the Iranian Theocracy   "It is hard even to digest the incredible train of events of the last few days in the Middle East.
"Iran had been reduced to an anemic, performance-art missile attack on our base in Qatar—the last Parthian shot from a terrified regime, desperate for an out—and a ceasefire.
"Iran would have been better off not launching such a ceremonial but ultimately humiliating proof of impotence.
"Even worse for the theocracy, Iran’s temporary reprieve came from the now magnanimous but still hated U.S. President Donald Trump.
"So ends the creepy mystique of the supposedly indomitable terror state of Iran, the bane of the last seven American presidents over half a century. For Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, it was hard to swallow that U.S. bombers got their permission to fly into Iranian airspace from the Israeli air force." . . .
The anti-Trump Democrats and loony left? Their talk of impeaching Trump for the supposedly “illegal” 35-minute, one-off strike will fade.

George Soros control: The collaboration between State Department and Soros NGOs

The Herland Report

"It is our pleasure at The Herland Report to present interviews with leading American officials, senators, politicians, CIA and NSA directors, Judicial Watch directors and senior officials, whistleblowers, Black Lives Matter leader and many more."

. . ."George Soros Inc. control: TV Interview with William Marshall: “George Soros is operating in several dozen countries and literally hundreds of these little non-profits if you will that are focused in the new media, a space primarily with what they like to advocate very liberal leftist policies.”

“They tend to be very anti-American in nature, they are pro-socialists, they advocate for the breakdown of traditional institutions, they push abortion, the legalization of abortion, the legalization of drug laws or decriminalization of drug laws of marijuana, for example. They like to stir up young people and have them engage in violent protests.” . . .

Chairman highlights the scale of damage to Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility

Sky News Australia  "Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine presents a graphic that analyses the scale of Operation Midnight Hammer, while detailing the impact of MOP weaponry on the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant."

Did US destroy Fordow? (Animated)  "The GBU-57 can very likely penetrate deeper than 60m because the US usually understates these types of weapon parameters. For example, officially the B-2 has a payload capacity of 40,000lbs yet on this mission each B-2 carried two GBU-57s, which together weigh 60,000lbs. Furthermore, even if one GBU-57 could only penetrate 60m, follow-on GBU-57s dropped down the same hole in succession would penetrate deeper. In addition, after penetration each GBU-57 explodes 5,300lbs of the most powerful conventional explosive known to man, which send intense shockwaves further downward."

Oregonians Living Behind Enemy Lines, Tale #49: Judge’s Gender Identity More Important Than Knowledge & Experience

 AFNN

"What happened to “they?” During a recent interview Brown referred to herself as a “she?” So, six years after she was “training” other attorneys in a new language, “she” has apparently reverted back to real English."

"Ted left the “legal” seminar in Oregon City, Oregon almost in shock. In order to keep his law license, he had been forced to listen to three individuals, attorneys all, explain how and why, if one did not want to be labeled “transphobic,” a term Democrats made up two minutes after Obama created this new category of victims, one must refer to a transgender man and a transgender woman as “they” and “them” instead of he, she, him, her. “They” did not bother to explain what one does if one cannot discern that the stranger across the room is transgender. Indeed, don’t most transgendered people want to be viewed as the opposite gender? The audience asked not one question.

"The next day, when Ted ran into his neighbor, also an attorney,as she was walking her dogs, he struggled to explain what he had learned from the three speakers. He stuttered as he tried, unsuccessfully, to explain the reasoning behind the bastardization of the English language by this nasty, violent Leftist lobby who claims to be representing a tiny, tiny, tiny minority: transgendered Americans. Ted described how the 20 or so attorneys attending this seminar sat through it, blank-faced, fearing to ask a single question. Likely, each audience member had many questions but were afraid to ask. Ted did not ask any questions. They worried about being labeled transphobic by the Oregon State Bar who holds his/her license to practice law.

IN 2025 OREGON, MERIT DOESN’T COUNT WHEN APPOINTING JUDGES

"One of the speakers at the “Trans 101” seminar on April 25, 2019 was Cierra D. Brown. The powers that be were fast-tracking her up, up, up, to become the first trans judge in Oregon. Bypassing 14 other applicants, most more qualified than her, Governor Tina Kotek, the second Lesbian Marxist in a row (Kate Brown left office in January 2023) in the Oregon governor’s mansion, appointed Brown to an open judgeship in Clackamas County, where this writer lived and practiced law for over 30 years." . . .

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt*

Broc Smith

Stupiditywatch: Rep, Jasmine Crockett attacks Melania Trump as no 'Einstein' over visa. . ."But Melania is not dumb. She speaks multiple languages, which is a lot more than anything Crockett will ever be able to do right there. She has very high social intelligence (memo to Crockett: There are many kinds of intelligence), able to navigate high circles of

social power and win the heart of a billionaire when she married Donald Trump, who wouldn't have gone near her on the wife front had she not had those skills. She has written a book. She has organized and hosted many charity and public service events. She has projected class and presence in public, making America proud, Most important, she's clearly a tiger mom, raising Barron Trump, a child with some challenges, into the high-achieving and successful young man he is now.

"Stupid people don't turn out brilliant children like Barron Trump.

"But then there's Crockett -- stupid, ignorant, and all full of malevolence to someone who hasn't offended or insulted anyone, let alone done anything stupid, at any time in her public life. Who, again, is the stupid one, with this idiotic attack on someone who's the opposite of what she is?" . . .

Rep. Jasmine Crockett insists ‘granddaddy’ Biden’s acuity ‘supreme’ compared to Trump
“Even if we want to say — which I refuse to accept — that Joe Biden was mentally deficient, let me tell you something, his mental deficiency is still a thousand times better than what we currently have,” Crockett said on Katie Couric’s “Next Question” podcast in an episode that dropped Thursday."

Rep. Jasmine Crockett Faces Backlash Over Rhetoric Against Elon Musk, Ted Cruz "Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) faced significant backlash after she said she wanted Elon Musk to be taken down for her birthday and that Sen. Ted Cruz should be “knocked in the head.”

A Tale of Two Father’s Days: This Year, Media Outlets Denigrated Fatherhood

The American Spectator;  A serious country must honor its fathers.

"Trump said. “This Father’s Day, my Administration pays tribute to every father whose fierce love, heroic devotion, and inspiring example are molding the next generation." . . .

"Father’s Day has come and gone, but this year’s media coverage of Father’s Day revealed that the nation faces a radical divide over the nature of parenthood and family life.
"Father’s Day should be a day to honor the men who work diligently, love their wives, teach their children virtue, and quietly carry the weight of responsibility for their families. Instead, several media outlets pushed stories that downplay, criticize, and sideline the importance of fatherhood. While millions of normal Americans took the day to celebrate fathers, media coverage has established an annual tradition of using the occasion to publish articles denigrating fathers.
"One Father’s Day article in the New York Times was simply a daughter’s hit piece against her father, attacking him viciously and publicly for largely minor grievances. His crimes included not taking her to baseball games, moving a lot for work, and “awkward silences.” The article offered him hardly any sympathy or grace but showered the author in self-praise. At one point, she extolled herself for not giving him a “hard time” when her father’s baseball pitch missed the plate — he was 85 years old at the time. The father is now 92, yet she is still airing out her petty injuries to the world.
"Another scornful article in the Toronto Star argued outright that no fathers should be celebrated at all on Father’s Day. Rather, mothers must be celebrated as the real heroes of Father’s Day. Father’s Day, which is “set aside so that children can thank Dad,” is “completely unnecessary,” the author writes. Fathers “need no special day on the calendar to let me know that.” Instead, Father’s Day ought to be when a man is “supposed to make it a priority to thank the woman who birthed his children.”
"While Father’s Day is too much love for fathers, Mother’s Day just simply isn’t enough. The author concludes with a diatribe: “So on Father’s Day, when all the attention falls on perhaps the least important character in the delivery room, it seems to me that a smart father would insist on recognizing the blinding truth: the woman who made him a father is the real hero of the story.”
"But the claim that a child’s father is the least important character in the delivery room is dead wrong. In fact, whether the father is actually present may be one of the most important facts of a child’s life, and it shouldn’t be taken for granted. In 2022, approximately 18.3 million children in the U.S. lived without a father in the home, about one in four American children.". . .

Whoa! WaPo Drops Blistering Op-Ed on Socialist NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani

RedState

"The Democrats are running scared because they’re realizing that with folks like this and NY Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, they’ve gone too extreme even for themselves."

"Well this was certainly unexpected. The leftist Washington Post dropped a devastating op-ed Friday by its editorial board that ripped into democratic socialist mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani and said that he would be “bad for New York.”

"As we reported, the political novice won a shocking victory in Tuesday's Democrat NYC mayoral primary, beating disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo and putting himself in prime position for the November general election.

"Usually the liberal rag is little more than a mouthpiece for the DNC, so to see them go after a Democrat this hard is a stunner and reveals two things: 1) Mamdani and his extremist policies are truly a danger to the Big Apple, and 2), leftists are scared right now. As I wrote earlier Friday, Mamdani could turn out to be a “big, beautiful gift” to the GOP because we can and will pound away the narrative that this guy is the new face of the Democrat party.

"Even for many libs, this permanently-grinning specter with his socialist utopia visions, grand tax schemes and antisemitism is a bridge too far.The Post agrees, and they give the entire game away in their headline: Zohran Mamdani’s victory is bad for New York and the Democratic Party.

"The WaPo was just getting started, saying that almost all other Democrats are “better” than Mamdani." . . .

Zohran Mamdani, the charismatic 33-year-old who is now the front-runner to be the next mayor of New York, might seem like a breath of fresh air for a Democratic Party struggling to move past its aging establishment. In fact, New Yorkers should be worried that he would lead Gotham back to the bad old days of civic dysfunction, and Democrats should fear that he will discredit their next generation of party leaders, almost all of whom are better than this democratic socialist.

"Whoa. Tell us how you really feel, WaPo." . . .More...

The Claim That America ‘Stole’ California From Mexico Is An Ignorant Lie

 The Federalist

"The United States won California because of winning a war — the way lands have changed hands for virtually all of human history. This latest attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the United States in general and its western states in particular is disingenuous at best and an outright lie at worst. But of course, leftists never let facts get in the way of a good victimization story."

"Recently, Katy Perry claimed on her Instagram page that California has always belonged to Mexico and is another example of U.S. racism and bigotry.

"That’s not quite … right. California, like most of the world, has a history that’s slightly more complex than will fit an average bumper sticker.

"Prior to the Spanish arrival in 1542, there were more than 100 different tribes inhabiting modern-day California. Most were small, and the total population of the area is estimated to be approximately 300,000.

"Although there were some minor explorations and small settlements, Spain left California largely unexplored and unsettled for nearly the next 200 years. This was due to a combination of factors such as distance from Spain, the strained Spanish finances, and also because there were no pack animals, little agricultural tradition, and a food supply that was less than appealing to Spanish palates.

"By the late 18th century, however, the Spanish decided they needed to better organize their North American territories to preempt incursions from other European powers, particularly the French and Russians. As a result, Spain began a more robust exploration of the state and would slowly colonize it, setting up missions along the vast coastal areas.

"By the early part of the 19th century, however, Spain’s fortunes were changing, the empire was stretched too thin, and after a decade of fighting, Mexico gained its independence in 1821. The new nation included what is today Mexico, as well as California and much of the American Southwest, stretching east to Texas and north to Colorado. Here’s where the rub in the argument that the United States stole California begins." . . .

May Heaven protect America from the simple-minded who desperately try to be known as "Good People". TD

The recycling scam laid bare in California’s leftist heartland

Andrea Widburg  "Here residents can be fined up to $500 for not separating their trash when disposing of it"

"Our South Carolina neighborhood has green cans for garbage and blue cans for recycling. All our neighbors dutifully separate their garbage. We don’t, and we don’t for a very specific reason. What I discovered a couple of years ago is that, while different trucks drive around collecting blue and green cans on garbage day, at the end of the shift, the trucks dump all the garbage into the same landfill. It’s a scam that, according to my local representative, makes people feel good about themselves.

"When I lived in Marin County, California, we also had to separate our garbage. That wasn’t surprising, though, given that Marin County is one of the most hardcore Democrat regions in America. There, it wasn’t voluntary, with municipal codes mandating separation, a mandate enforced with financial penalties. Since I left California, the state got into the action, too.

"It turns out, though, that in Tiburon, California, the garbage collectors haven’t gotten the message. This wonderful video shows that, while good citizens dutifully separate their trash according to complex instructions carefully written out on the garbage cans, the efficient trash collectors are unimpressed. Everything goes into the same bin, then to the same truck, and from there to the same landfill: This is the practice in Tiburon, CA as posted by Ms. Widburg.

On the other hand, here is how Cleveland handles recycling

UPDATED: Keep Natasha, fire CNN; Its lies damage America by undermining the man we elected president

 Don Surber

The damage done by CNN seeps to the fiber of America as the Big Lie is repeated by liar after liar in the televised culture. For example, MRC News Busters reported, “Colbert Dances After CNN Article Casts Doubt On Success Of Iran Strikes.”

. . . "Benny Johnson posted a clip from CNN and tweeted:

After getting torched by the Trump Administration, CNN is now panicking and reporting the TRUTH about the U.S. strikes on Iran: “It worked flawlessly. Completely destroyed. Those centrifuges are gone. Fordo is inoperable. Probably forever.”

"The reason the man said probably forever is that once compromised by a dozen bunker busters, the mountain is unstable and would likely cave in if Iran tried to rebuild it. Iran has two choices: find another mountain or do what Saddam Hussein did when Israel blew up his nuke tech site: give up.

"Now CNN is making the Walk It Back of Shame. Mark Steffen reported:'

'The cleanup is underway at CNN, where days of withering criticism over its coverage of the U.S. bombing of Iran appears to have had its intended effect.

Network analysts are now backtracking on claims made in a bombshell report from earlier this week, which cited a U.S. intelligence assessment that the bombs had little effect on stymying Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Brett McGurk, a CNN global affairs analyst and former diplomat, went so far as to assert that President Trump’s planned operation “worked flawlessly.”

“These massive [bombs], with significant computer software engineering, went directly down to those three ventilated shafts specifically as designed,” he told two CNN anchors on Thursday.

“It worked. It seems it worked flawlessly.”

McGurk also stated that he was briefed on the current phase of assessing the bombing, which is exploring if everything went as planned.

"Trump’s spokeswoman demolished CNN." . . .

Now we know why Deep State had to leak ‘fake Iran’ story to CNN’s Natasha Bertrand…

"Now here’s where the story takes a turn. Enter Natasha Bertrand… CNN’s Pentagon and national security correspondent. But she’s a lot more than that.

Bertrand has been called a Deep State mouthpiece and a key player in pushing the Russia hoax, the infamous “pee tape” lie, and a long list of other intelligence-backed psy-ops, like the Hunter Biden laptop coverup and the “51 spies who lied.” But now, she’s got a new gig. Ms. Bertrand is the alleged leaker.

Press Secretary Levitt called her out by name."   Full article

UPDATE: CNN is backtracking BIG TIME as they air that Trump was RIGHT - the Iran strikes were effective, the leaked intel report was WRONG
