ICE protests and riots: Rallying to aid and abet evil

What has happened to the very soul of Western civilization? So many support those whom a corrupt administration allowed into this nation for votes to keep it -Democrats - in power. Their support comes not from popular endorsement but from wealthy, leftist sources: those I am forced to believe side with Hamas murderers of Israeli families, criminals illegally in this country, believe a man can become a woman, that police are evil, and those who burn our cities in the employ of others who pay them to do so. Good has become evil and evil has become a virtue. TD

"Enter pop star Zara Larsson, a Swedish national, who recently used social media, in the form of an Instagram post, to state: “I love immigrants. I love criminals. I love trans people. I love abortions. I love queers. I love slutty women. I love contraception. I love welfare. I love socialism. I f****** hate ICE”  A.T.

ICE protests and riots: Rallying to aid and abet evil

"Riots are taking place across the country in support of a person who was an inveterate obstructor of law enforcement and a Trump hater.

"Just as massive and violent riots took place after George Floyd, a career criminal, druggie, ne’er-do-well, and thug died in police custody several years ago after attempting to use a counterfeit bill to purchase a pack of cigarettes.

"Yet there were no massive protests after 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee, was murdered by a career offender while riding in a light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina. The assailant, Decarlos Brown, had previously been arrested — and released — 14 times.

"Zarutska, who “loved America” according to her family, worked at a pizza restaurant and a senior center, and took care of animals in the neighborhood.

"Maybe if she wasn’t white, and had an extensive criminal record, many would have protested her death. In fact, I’m certain they would have. It’s too bad America didn’t love her back.

"But this has become a pattern in the U.S." . . .

Potential collapse of American democracy could affect the world | The Jerusalem Post

. . . " Speaking to Americans, the most patriotic thing to do is fight for the preservation of democratic institutions. While having a backup plan is prudent, the primary focus should be on preventing the need to use it. This means engaging in the democratic process, supporting institutions that uphold the rule of law, and actively resisting antidemocratic movements." . . .

Alliance Defending Freedom   "Their day is finally here. Female athletes will stand at the U.S. Supreme Court to save women’s sports—and a victory could protect women and girls across the country.

"For years, women and girls have been losing opportunities to compete, have had their well-deserved accolades and awards given away, and have been forced to share locker rooms and private spaces with males.

"All because of the lie that men can become women.

"Brave young women like Lainey Armistead, Madison Kenyon, and Mary Kate Marshall are standing up to say ENOUGH. As are girls across the country, who are also fighting to protect fairness and safety for girls." The thrust of this article a plea for financial support. How to identify baseball pitches

"If you've ever wanted to identify baseball pitches by just watching them on TV, this video is for you. That's right. A whole video just about how to identify pitches that you see when you watch baseball games on TV. Have you ever said "what pitch is that?" "Identifying pitches becomes relatively easy once you start paying attention to the velocity and movement of each pitch, and becomes even easier once you start to know which pitches various pitchers throw. "This video will also help if you've ever had these questions:
What is a four seam fastball? What does a four seam fastball look like? What is a two seam fastball? What does a two seam fastball look like? What is a sinker? What does a sinker look like? Is a sinker the same thing as a two seam fastball? What is a curveball? What is a slider? What is a breaking ball? What is a splitter? What is a cutter? What is a knuckleball? What does a slider look like? What does a cutter look like?
"Hope this video is helpful! This is the first video on this channel. Let me know what you think!"

Comments to this video at the link:
"I've been watching baseball for 40 years and this video is literally ... LITERALLY ... the very first time I've heard anyone explain how to identify all the pitches. I've driven myself half-insane doing the research trying to find all this knowledge in one place, and always came away convinced absolutely nobody knows for sure the differences between pitches. My sincerest thanks and appreciation for making this video, Sports Explained. You've got yourself another subscriber."

"Baseball nut here that already knew how to identify pitches. A good sequel to this video would be describing situational use of each pitch. Why 4-seamers are thrown up in the zone, why pitchers throw curves in the dirt, pitch tunneling, why righties throw breaking balls to righties, and offspeed to lefties. Would be a good introduction to how to think through an at bat. The best piece of baseball that most people miss is the mental battle between hitter and pitcher.

Media outlets tell ICE’s side of the story

 Don Surber; Substack

"And even more good news Lakeville, Minnesota. Hilton physically removed the Hampton Inn sign from the hotel that refused to be nice to ICE.

"Tim Walz and the rest of the Democrats finally got what they wanted—someone killed by ICE. The party line is the woman was protesting. The law says she was interfering with an official act.

"She tried to run over the ICE agent while her wife filmed her. She forgot he had a gun. Pray for the man because he never wanted to kill anyone." . . .

"The surprise was media outlets balked at carrying water for Democrats this time. Curtis Houck, Managing Editor of NewsBusters, tweeted a few videos.

" 'He tweeted with the first one, “Here was how Tom Llamas led NBC Nightly News on the deadly ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis."  . . .

The Geniuses in Congress -- That's a Joke

 HotAir

A law isn't necessary to do the right thing. It just takes honor. Half of Congress is already eschewing stock trading. Time for the rest to do the same.

Just one such.

"With the geniuses we have in Congress, no problem should be too tough to solve, whether it's inflation, health care costs, war or disease.

"Ten members ended 2025 with stock market returns far exceeding the S&P, the Dow, the Nasdaq or what legendary stock pickers like Warren Buffet achieve. Rep. Tim Moore (R-N.C.) earned 52% on his stock portfolio; New York's Tom Suozzi (D), representing parts of Queens and the Long Island "gold coast," scored a 35% gain. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is closing out her Congressional career with a staggering 33% stock profit for 2025.

"Unfortunately it's not genius on display. It's sleaze. These lawmakers have information and influence other stock traders don't have. Lawmakers know when a bill will be voted on or a regulation adopted, and they have the clout to influence the timing. That common-sense observation is now backed up by a study of 20 years' worth of congressional stock trading data published by the National Bureau of Economic Research.

"The study also shows that, generally, lawmakers with the most seniority and leadership roles outperform rank-and file-members. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi raked in 54% in 2024, beating every hedge fund, but only scored an 18% gain in 2025, when she was out of the leadership and in the minority.

"The exception this year is Moore, a freshman member. But he's in the catbird seat, sitting on several key subcommittees of the Committee on Financial Services. This top stock picker's maneuvers are tracked by an ever-growing social media audience.

"Historically, members in the majority make the highest gains. The top four stock pickers for 2025 are all Republicans.

"It's about access to information and the ability to control the timing of events for personal profit." . . .  More...
