Leftist women and their Romper Room mentality

 Andrea Widburg

"Whether it’s the newest entrant into the Star Trek world or a day in court, leftist women, with their relentless faux “mommy-ness” demean our world."

"One of my earliest memories dates to when I was three or, at most, four. Every day, I was glued to our black-and-white TV watching Romper Room, a television show for preschoolers. Miss Nancy opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and then conducted a 30-minute preschool class.

"This is what Miss Nancy was like back in the 1960s:

"It’s very sweet, very loving, very patriotic, and very appropriate for the 3-5-year-old set.

"But what happens when an entire political party is taken over by a horde of Miss Nancys? And worse, what happens when those Miss Nancys don’t focus their energy on raising normal, patriotic children  (indeed, they want fewer children in the world, and think infanticide through abortion is brilliant), and instead want to use their warped maternal longings to scold and dominate the world?

"Well, to begin with, you have Holly Hunter in the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is being roundly castigated as the worst show ever in a swiftly declining franchise. Once, Starfleet ships were led by the manly, rakish Captain Kirk or the fierce, scholarly, and, yes, manly, Captain Picard, or even the firm but feminine Captain Janeway. These captains never forgot that they sat on top of the chain of command in an enterprise that, while exciting and exploratory, was also a military ship of the line with life-and-death consequences for bad decisions—and, for that reason, they always comported themselves with dignity when at the helm.

"Then there’s Holly Hunter’s character. Hunter plays Nahla Ake, the chancellor of the Academy and captain of a ship. Her backstory is that she threw away her entire career because she sent a felony murderer to prison...a female felony murderer, which meant separating the woman from her child. “Separating children from their parents,” she says, “isn't exceptional, it's reprehensible.” You can just hear the writers (mostly women) saying, “That’ll help people understand why there should be no borders, and America should nullify all immigration laws!”. . . . More...

One of the comments to Ms. Widberg's article:  . . . "As I’ve said before, third-wave feminism has destroyed women. I can defend first-wave feminism (voting, property rights) and second-wave feminism (equal work and equal pay for equal abilities). What I cannot defend is a generation of women who were taught that they are simultaneously queens and victims, mothers and murderers, and geniuses and hook-up sluts. It’s a world of cognitive dissonance that has made too many women crazy and very, very unpleasant."

Democrat Politicians Sacrifice More Pawns; The useful idiots haven’t yet figured out that they’re just cannon fodder.

Richard Blakley

"After the shooting [of Good], the streets were lined with “heart-shaped signs featuring quotes by Assata Shakur, a radical black liberation activist who fled to Cuba in the 1970s after being convicted of murdering a cop.”  What message do you think that is sending?"

"The Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin, recently made two comparisons on X, the first suggesting a commonality between the protestors in Iran and those in Minnesota.  In Iran, the people are protesting a horribly oppressive totalitarian rule of the Mullahs with as many as 12,000 people being massacred, according to Epoch Times and the exiled Crown Prince; in Minnesota, deranged people are protesting the enforcement of U.S. laws concerning illegal immigration and against the arrest of criminals.  Where is the point of comparison?  This is lunacy.

"Secondly, Martin intimated martyrdom, asserting that “tens of thousands are marching after the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good — demanding justice.”  So, there you have it.  The dimwit Democrats are trying to create their next George Floyd.  An ICE agent shot Renee Good because after being told to exit the vehicle, she backed up and took off with her car aimed at him, before she hit him, leaving him with serious internal bleeding.  Good broke the law and attempted to use her car as a weapon against law enforcement officers.  This means that law enforcement officers then have the right to discharge their firearm in self-defense.

"Next, in responding to someone who criticized his post, Martin responded with insults about President Trump, but then showed his true intent for his warped narrative, for he said, “See you at the ballot box in 2026.”

"Martin is not about truth.  Martin is not about Renee Good or protestors in Minnesota.  Martin is about taking a tragic story and spinning it to what he believes is his advantage to confuse voters into voting for more dimwitted Democrats in the 2026 election.  Martin is wickedly evil." . . .

. . . "Dimwit Democrat governor Tim Walz and Mayer Jacob “small” Frey both have continued framing the incident as “entirely the fault of ICE.”  Walz and Frey are wickedly evil, only concerned with pushing a narrative from which they can attempt to gain power at the expense of deranged, delirious, and dangerous Democrat supporters.  After all, these citizens are merely pawns in the eyes of wickedly evil Democrat politicians like Martin, Walz, and Frey." . . .

Nate Friedman Uncovers Who's Paying Protesters

Why can't CNN and MSNBC do what young journalists like Nate Friedman does? This journalist is in danger; if he did "Don Lemon journalism" he would be warmly welcomed. Especially if he brought donuts and coffee. TD

NTD   "My wife and I often questioned how people could afford (literally) to miss work to go out and protest, how they organized to create signs and billboards that took time to build and looked well put together, etc. This reporting now fully explains how it all comes together. Criminally."

"Independent journalist Nate Friedman exposed paid protesters at a New York City rally opposing the capture of Nicolas Maduro, and revealed the operation on Tuesday’s “National Report.' ”

ICE Should Adopt a Counterinsurgency Strategy "Writing in the Washington Times, columnist Don Feder called the recent disturbances in sanctuary cities the first steps of a left-wing attempted American revolution. He likens them to the early stages of the French and Bolshevik Revolutions. Indeed, what is happening in Minnesota resembles a fledgling insurgency with organized crowds deliberately inciting ICE and other federal agents into overreaction. If this is in fact a low-level nascent insurgency, ICE should treat it as such and implement the kind of counterinsurgency doctrine that the British used to nip the Chinese communist-led revolt in Malaysia in the bud and that the Americans eventually adopted in Iraq." . .  .  More...

Douglas Murray blames MS NOW for ‘anti-ICE rhetoric’ and dehumanising police

 Sky News Australia

From the comments to the video: "MS NOW should be sued for defamation, but nobody is doing that, they've incited to violence against Trump and the administration and against law enforcement because they want to protect the millions of illegal immigrants that THEY helped import into the US. Also that conviction is ridiculous, why did she admit to the charge instead of fighting it in the court? Why isn't she appealing the conviction? The entire "hate speech" law in the UK needs to be revoked, it should have never been passed! It's a ridiculous attack on the very basis of freedom of speech that is a human right in a democratic country, which the UK clearly isn't anymore."

"An MS NOW journalist has been accused of defending a gunman who shot two National Guardsmen in Washington, DC.

"Justice and Intelligence Correspondent Ken Dilanian speculated Wednesday that the gunman, who has not yet been named, may have mistaken the West Virginia guardsmen for members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).'But of course, there's so much controversy happening now in the United States, with ICE, who are also wearing uniforms and wearing masks,' Dilanian said live at 3pm ET on Katy Tur Reports.'And, so, you don't know - people walking around with uniforms in an American city, there are some Americans who might object to that. And so, apparently this shooting has happened.' " . . .

A Skunk by Any Other Name—MSNBC is Now MSNOW | AMAC  . . . "As it is, comedy is pretty much what many of us think of the network as a whole. In a goodbye column for MSNBC, Dan Gainor celebrated “Five ridiculous moments” in the network’s history—moments involving the absurd and insufferable Joy Reid, Keith Olbermann, and, of course, Chris Matthews. It was the last named who famously said on air that Barack Obama caused a “thrill going up my leg.”

"For those who like that kind of thing, the good news is that the rebranded network is still doing it. Newsbusters reported that MS NOW took only a mere four-and-a-half hours to get in their first Nazi analogy. Philosopher Jason Stanley told ["Fiery but mostly peaceful"] Ali Velshi that ICE is just like the Nazi Brownshirts."

Federal Audits Demand California Repay Over $1 Billion in Misused Medicaid Funds for Illegal Aliens

 California Globe

An additional 2024 federal audit found the state improperly claimed $52.7 million in reimbursements for payments to illegal aliens
Why not believe Newsom? Because he cannot be believed.

"In a major escalation of federal oversight, audits by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Trump administration have determined that California must repay more than $1 billion in improperly claimed federal Medicaid funds tied to healthcare for illegal aliens. The findings highlight California’s role as the “biggest culprit” among several blue states—including Illinois, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and the District of Columbia—that collectively face demands to return $1.35 billion in questioned reimbursements.

"The revelation, first highlighted in a Fox News alert on Monday, underscores the ongoing fiscal strain caused by the state’s decision to extend full Medi-Cal coverage to all “undocumented migrants”, a move that has ballooned costs to the near point of fiscal insolvency."  More...

Who’s Paying for the Minneapolis Protesters? The ‘charitable’ organizations that are funding violent protests.

DHS' McLaughlin Promises 'Mugshots Soon' for Activists Who Disrupted MN Church Worship Service

Tony Branco

"A surge of dark progressive money is powering Minnesota’s activist infrastructure, and several media sources indicate that the trail leads straight to the Hopewell Fund. As a central hub in the Arabella network — a for‑profit Washington, D.C. LLC consulting firm that manages and provides services to a network of large progressive nonprofits — Hopewell channels millions from major foundations into activist projects while keeping donor identities safely out of sight.

"One of those projects — States at the Core (SATC) — has been using Hopewell funding to provide on-the-ground training in subversive mobilization tactics to Minnesota protestors under the anonymity afforded by fiscal sponsorship. According to Minnesota Public Radio

Now, an organization in the Twin Cities is offering “ICE Watch training.” The training provided by States at the Core, or SATC, prepares neighbors to monitor, document, and fight against ICE activity. The organization says it has trained more than 1,000 Minnesotans so far.

"The result is a funding system built for progressive influence while keeping the real decision‑makers anonymous and unaccountable. One of the participants in this pipeline was activist Renee Good, the young woman who was shot by an ICE agent after she drove her car into him. She and her partner, Rebecca, had spent the previous hours on the day she was killed attempting to prevent ICE officers from doing their job.  At the time she was shot, she had been blocking traffic with her car in an effort to trap ICE agents’ vehicles and prevent them from leaving the area. Trained in these tactics, Renee Good was a participant in Minnesota’s ICE Watch community. According to news reports, Renee’s partner, Rebecca Good, was “part of the Powderhorn/Phillips ICE Watch neighborhood chat.” And, as Minnesota Public Radio points out, SATC is providing the ICE Watch training.

"Renee Good’s dangerous and unlawful behavior on the day she was shot illustrates how Hopewell-funded projects don’t just bankroll organizations — they cultivate individual organizers who then carry these sometimes deadly tactics into Minnesota’s political landscape. (RELATED: The Media Are Agents of Propaganda)

Was That Church Attack the Tipping Point in Minnesota? Time to invoke the Insurrection Act.

 Scott McKay

"[Bonchie] also noted the shout-out Armstrong gave to fired CNN anchor Don Lemon, now a podcaster desperate for clicks, who “covered” the protest and triumphantly lectured the church’s pastor on the particulars of the First Amendment without having the first blessed notion of what the hell he was talking about"…

"Those of you taking a holiday from the depressing grind of current events over the three-day weekend may not have seen this latest escalation in the Hard Left’s hypokinetic war against Normal America — namely, that the professional “activists” got word a pastor at a Minneapolis church was employed by ICE and as a result it was within the bounds of decent behavior to rush into Sunday services and stage a takeover.

This wasn’t a “violent” attack, per se, though it’s pretty clear what the implications were.

"It’s a more disorganized, and certainly more pathetic, version of the mafia sending Vito and Rocco to a recalcitrant merchant not paying his protection money. No legs were broken, but the day’s peace certainly was, and the message was unmistakable. We know where you worship, we can find you, and we won’t let you rest. And we hold nothing of yours sacred; we will ruin it in hopes that you will overreact and show yourselves to be hypocrites. And the implication — if this doesn’t intimidate you, perhaps your church burns down, or there’s an “incident” involving a gun and somebody even crazier than we are making his/her/their way inside your doors — is just as clear. The leader of the troglodytes disrupting the church services was so utterly arrogant that she actually named the participants in that “demonstration” on social media." . . .

. . . "Bonchie at RedState noted that this is a prima facie violation of the FACES Act, which Democrats use all the time to prosecute people who gather to sing Christian hymns outside abortion clinics…

Keep Digging: How Archaeology Debunks the Israel ‘Colonizers’ Libel

HonestReporting    "One of the earliest references to the Jewish people comes from the Merneptah Stele, an Egyptian artifact dating back to 1200 BCE. The stele commemorates the victories of the Pharaoh Merneptah over the Israelites. This marks the first known mention of Israel in ancient Egyptian literature, affirming the longstanding presence of the Jewish people in the region. In the picture to the left, the word “Israel” is highlighted in the artifact’s original Egyptian hieroglyphics. Though there are a handful of exact translations, the sentence reads, “Yisrael, his seed is scattered,” stressing the narrative of Jewish continuity."

"The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III is an Assyrian artifact from 841 BCE. It mentions the “House of Omri,” recording the tribute paid by King Jehu of Israel to the Assyrian empire after they had conquered the Kingdom of Israel. The obelisk is the only known contemporary image of an Israelite king, demonstrating the political and dynastic activities of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, therefore reinforcing the Jewish presence in the region." Photo  . . .

The Roman Era

"Constructed soon after the death of Emperor Titus Flavius Vespasianus in 81 CE, the Arch of Titus commemorates the Roman triumph awarded to Emperor Vespasian and to Titus, his son and heir, for their victory in the Jewish War (66-74 CE). The most historically important element of the Arch’s iconography is the display of spolia from the war, including such sacred vessels from the Jerusalem Temple as the seven-branched Menorah and the Table of the Showbread. The first-century CE Jewish historian Flavius Josephus describes the triumph and the deposition of these artifacts in Rome, and they are also mentioned in later Rabbinic literature. The menorah on the Arch of Titus was chosen as the symbol of the State of Israel in 1949." . . . Center for Israel Studies

This should call for one of those "Hey Hey, Ho Ho" chants in favor of Israel.

Bruce Springsteen tells ICE to ‘get the f–k out of Minneapolis’ at surprise NJ show appearance

Bruce Springsteen Dedicates Song to Renee Good, Tells ‘Gestapo’ ICE ‘Get the F**k Out of Minneapolis’
"He then attacked the federal government in a truly insurrectionist vein: . . ."
So we must suppose Bruce likes the thousands flooding into the country daily during the Biden (or somebody's) administration?
Speaking of Bruce - Biden, always remember this statement Springsteen made when Biden won the election for President:

From a 2021 post in the Tunnel Wall:
What Bruce Springsteen Has Said About Joe Biden on 9/21/20  He speaks well, writes well, sings excellently, but I have to consider him a poor judge of people's character. The Tunnel Dweller

..."For one, Springsteen and Biden romanticize the blue collar, factory life of times past, but neither of them have spent time experiencing it. Springsteen might have grown up in a working class family, but he has spent the majority of his adult career in the limelight. Biden’s been in politics his whole life with little to show for it. And no matter how much pandering he extends to the working class and how relatable he pretends to be, his hands will never be calloused. He’d sooner kill jobs before he’d do any work to create them, as we’ve already seen just weeks into his presidency. Biden and Springsteen have taken it upon themselves to be the mouthpieces of the working class man–but as it stands now, they are both failing miserably."...

And to think, I have Springsteen's channel programmed on my satellite radio. TD

Hatred Brought Us to a Place the Haters Don’t Care For

It is a hatred that far exceeds mere derangement.

"For Jane politics isn’t the business of rational choices. It is a war of emotional expression. While Jane is vehemently opposed to illegal immigration, she is highly offended by the Trump administration’s tactics in her community. She recently posted on Facebook:

This is not the America I grew up in. And I'm beyond pissed. Now I hear Trump is threatening the insurrection act in Minnesota… does that mean war on the citizens of Minnesota? Shoot now ask questions later…

'Good luck walking to work, a**holes': Trump-hater Swalwell wants to revoke driver’s licenses for ICE agents

 The Blaze

"Gilbert accused Swalwell of listing the office of his California-based lawyer as his residence in his campaign filing."Either he's guilty of mortgage fraud in Washington, D.C., or he's ineligible to run for governor of California," Gilbert told the Daily Mail. "He can't have it both ways.' "

"Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) pledged that if he were elected California governor this November, he would revoke the state driver's licenses of federal immigration agents.

"Swalwell attended the Empowerment Congress California Governor Forum on Saturday, during which he gave a speech.

"He vowed to "always be on offense on behalf of Californians," in part, by taking drastic action against Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and agents who wear masks.

" 'They're going to lose their immunity. They're not going to be able to drive. I will take your driver's license. Good luck walking to work, a**holes," Swalwell stated, referring to ICE officers. "Also I will direct law enforcement to use every power to prosecute them for battery, false imprisonment, and murder."

"Swalwell shared a clip of his comments on X, writing, "ICE, do I have your attention yet?"

“Rep. Eric Swalwell’s vowing to strip ICE law enforcement officers of their driver’s licenses for wearing masks is disgusting,” Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Our officers wear masks to protect themselves from being doxxed and targeted by known and suspected terrorist sympathizers. Not only is ICE law enforcement facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them, but we’ve also seen thugs launch websites to reveal officers’ identity.” . . .More...
