"Saturday, Nov. 14 was a day of tens of thousands of President Trump supporters peacefully (completely, not “mostly”) at the “MAGA March,” in Washington, D.C. Marxist Black Lives Matter and Antifa were there, too, but outnumbered, but when the crowd began to disperse did those usual suspects show up and proceeded to harass, threaten and exact violence against those simply showing support for the president.

"This was not a new scene. Supporters of Mr. Trump have faced verbal, emotional and physical assaults throughout his presidency, in addition to attempts by media to destroy the lives of others, like Covington kid Nick Sandmann. Whether it be adults getting screamed at in restaurants, being attacked for their support of the president, to children being assaulted by adults and other children for wearing Trump 2020 hats, Democratic political violence has become commonplace.

"Ironically, the Biden/Harris campaign laughably made calls for “unity” a cornerstone of their campaign, as they pledge to “heal the soul of the nation.” This, as video from the MAGA March of BLM, Antifa and Black Box anarchist assaults on families, older Americans and Trump supporters in general, went viral on social media. 

"In one case, an older man walking alone was sucker punched from behind by a masked rioter. When the victim fell face first on the cement another masked rioter came up to kick him in the head. Video of a young family being hounded, threatened and terrified was shared on social media, as well as footage of diners at a D.C. restaurant being shot at with fireworks, exposed the obscene and repugnant acts usually reserved for banana republics run by leftist maniacs.

"Most people only knew this was happening because it was shared on social media platforms. The legacy media for the most part ignored these events, like they ignore the continuing violence in Democratic cities across the country." . . .

Everything in this country depends on fair elections, and it's obvious even now that we don't have them when access to basic information is restricted and weaponized by a partisan billionaire class. " 'Giuliani, along with former federal prosecutor called Sidney Powell and a number of others, alleged that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump. To demonstrate that, they exhibited some of what they found after two weeks of investigating. The presentation went on for 90 minutes with many different threads, about which more anon.

"How you viewed it depended largely on who you voted for. Trump voters seemed hopeful that it might change the election results. The left and virtually every single person in all of the news media immediately dismissed it as an embarrassing clown show as well as a threat to the republic. That's right: the very same people who swore that Vladimir Putin's agents controlled the U.S. government called it a conspiracy theory. 

"A lot of Americans believe this election was rigged. They're not saying that because they're crazy and they're not just saying it because they're mad. They mean it. GIULIANI: She was assigned to voting duties in September and she was trained by the city of Detroit and the state of Michigan. She was basically trained to cheat. She said that "I was instructed by my supervisor to adjust the mailing date of these absentee ballot packages to be dated earlier than when they were actually sent in. The supervisor made that announcement for all workers to engage in that fraudulent practice." That's not me saying that. That's just American citizens saying that under oath.

metropolitan area.  On Election Day, Wayne County famously covered the windows in the vote-counting area so observers could not witness the count.  Nevertheless, on Tuesday, the two Republican members of the Wayne County election board agreed to certify the vote count — although they did so along with a demand for an audit.  They've now rescinded their agreement, saying fellow board members bullied and misled them.

"I reported yesterday the strange journey that the Wayne County election board took.  It started by refusing to certify the election.  Then, abruptly, the two Republican board members who held up the certification did an about-face and agreed to certify the vote.  The only caveat was that they demanded a "comprehensive audit" of "unexplained precincts."

"On Wednesday, Americans learned why those two Republicans had suddenly agreed to certify the voting results in Wayne County.  It wasn't because they HAD listened to their Democrat peers' reasoned arguments and changed their minds.  Instead, it was because they were subjected to ferocious abuse, with people calling them evil racists, and because at least two people obliquely threatened their and their family's safety:" ...

"When Monica Palmer and William Hartmann were called racist and fascist, they must have thought of what happened in Portland, when a member of Biden's base murdered Aaron "Jay" Danielson in cold blood — and then Antifa celebrated the murder.  Now they found themselves facing the same mob mentality.

"Not only did Palmer and Hartmann stare directly at the mob, but Democrats also promised that if they certified the votes, state officials would conduct a comprehensive audit.  Palmer and Hartmann included that language in their agreement to certify votes.  By Wednesday, the Democrats made it clear they did not intend to abide by the promise.

"As word leaked out about the intimidating tactics used against them, Palmer and Hartmann found the strength to take a stand.  Both rescinded their certification votes from Tuesday:"...

Within a couple hours of the 2-2 deadlock, Rashida Tlaib, the Muslim radical, led a mob of complainers accusing the two Republicans of disenfranchising blacks and of being racist. They demanded that the results be certified.

These two Republicans stood up to bullying, physical threats on them and their families, being called racists, and being lied to.  Praise the Lord! Oh, by the way, prepare for the Antifa and BLM riots, which I suspect are being queued up as I type this.

"First, Maria Bartiromo dedicated nearly her entire hour-long program to spreading a wild conspiracy theory—born in the fever swamps of a right-wing message board and tweeted by President Donald Trump on Saturday night—that some electronic voting machines had "switched" or "deleted" votes cast for the president.

"Rudy Giuliani, who was appointed over the weekend to oversee Trump's legal efforts contesting the election results, told Bartiromo that he had "proof that I can't disclose yet" about "corrupt machines." Separately, Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell joined Bartiromo to proclaim that "Trump won by not just hundreds of thousands of votes, but by millions of votes that were shifted by this software that was designed expressly for that purpose." There is so much evidence of this fraud, she claimed that "I feel like it is coming in through a fire hose." Notably, however, neither Powell nor Giuliani offered much of the supposedly readily available evidence." . . .

Both Republicans and Democrats have done it, swimming in a current that stretches far back in history.

"Faith, and particularly Catholicism, played a prominent role in Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, which culminated in an election victory speech in which Biden quoted from Ecclesiastes and the saccharine 1970s Catholic hymn “On Eagle’s Wings.” The August Democratic National Convention that selected Biden as its presidential candidate in turn featured a panoply of paeans to Biden’s Catholic faith. Former Ohio governor John Kasich, former first lady Michelle Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and former president Barack Obama all characterized Biden’s religious beliefs as a motivation and guide for his political career. One suspects they are not talking about his submission to the Nicene Creed.

"Rather, as both the Democratic Party and liberal legacy media have constantly reminded us, Biden is a “decent” man who will provide “comfort and solace” to an American nation suffering through a pandemic, economic crisis, and heightened racial tensions. His Catholic faith, we are told, influences his opinions on core Democratic Party policies such as sustainable energy, welcoming immigrants, improving racial equity, and curbing gun violence. However, they also assure us, that same Catholic faith does not influence his position on abortion, sexuality, or religious liberty. In other words, Catholicism has been exploited as a tool of statecraft: essential to Biden’s politics when politically advantageous and discarded when it is not." . . .

The secularization process in biblical scholarship sought to retain a shell of religiosity in its belief that piety was still useful for inculcating civic virtue. Yet the concurrent effort to “demythologize” the Bible and interpret it solely as a work of historical fiction fostered a further privatization of religious commitments, neutralizing the influence of beliefs deemed problematic to the state’s domination of the public square. What remained of “faith” were only generic exhortations to be good, such as Kant’s categorical imperative. And in that, we can see its fruits in the diluted “nice guy” Catholicism of Joe Biden that is acceptable, even exploitable, by the Democratic Party.

"The super PAC on Tuesday urged its 2.7 million Twitter followers to track down employees of Jones Day and Porter Wright — two law firms that it feels are in cahoots with the Trump campaign — and to confront them for “trying to overturn the will of the American people.” Soon after, the group published employees’ personal, private information online for those eager to do so.

"Co-founder Rick Wilson said the Lincoln Project also plans to “target some of Jones Day’s largest clients,” such as General Motors, as retribution for the firm daring to represent Republicans.

"This harassment campaign, while grotesque, was anticipated. It became clear soon after Election Day that Democrats were going to take their apparent victory as graciously as they took their loss in 2016.

"In mere days following November 3, Mr. Biden’s campaign bragged that the federal government was “perfectly capable of escorting trespassers” like Mr. Trump “out of the White House.” Former First Lady Michelle Obama condemned the “tens of millions of people” who voted for “lies, hate, chaos, and division.” Social justice activists taunted Republican parents, including one activist who gloated that, under a Biden administration, “your children” will be “forced to read my book on anti-racism in school on your tax dollars' .” . . .

“Morning Joe,” hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski pulled in an average 1.6 million total viewers for the week vs. 1.4 million for “Fox & Friends.”

The news comes amid amid a ratings slide for Fox News Channel in recent weeks after conservative viewers announced on social media platforms their displeasure with Fox coverage, culminating on election night Fox called Arizona for Joe Biden earlier than other news organizations and proclaimed Biden “president elect” along with other mainstream outlets while President Donald Trump continues his election challenges and states have yet to officially certify results.

“Republicans grew tired of being lectured and insulted by some of Fox News’ anchors,” Red State said, reporting on the news. “We’ve seen it with Chris Wallace, Neil Cavuto, and Sandra Smith (caught on a hot mic). More recently, we saw Leland Vittert lose his mind on a Trump surrogate. Republicans don’t need a news network that lies to them. Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., also kept her role as chairwoman of the House GOP conference, despite opposition from some Republicans over her disagreements with Trump on foreign policy and the handling of the coronavirus crisis.

GOP lawmakers told the Journal that talk about replacing her faded due to concerns about getting rid of the only woman in the House Republican leadership." . . .
