As the mainstream media continues to have a difficult time coming to terms with Republican Glenn Youngkin's win over Clinton lackey and Democrat Terry McAuliffe, CNN's media critic-turned PR flack Stelter apparently thought talking with the author of the book "Bad News: How Woke Media Is Undermining Democracy" would not lead to criticism of the breathless depiction of McAuliffe's loss as a result of voters' racism." . . .

. . . ""You saw host, after host, after host on MSNBC saying 'Oh this is a victory for white supremacy, white supremacy wins again, racism wins again," Ungar-Sargon pointed out. "The Lieutenant Governor that Youngkin won with will be the first black woman to hold that job, when Glenn Youngkin managed to flip majority black districts, when he managed to get between 40 and 50 percent of Latino voters — are all of those people white supremacists?" she asked rhetorically."

Gloomy landscape for Democrats in midterms as Biden's approval drops to 38% in USA TODAY/Suffolk poll

Nearly two-thirds of Americans, 64%, say they don't want Biden to run for a second term in 2024. That includes 28% of Democrats. Opposition to Trump running for another term in 2024 stands  at 58%, including 24% of Republicans.

Vice President Kamala Harris' approval rating is 28% – even worse than Biden's. The poll shows that 51% disapprove of the job she's doing. One in 5, 21%, are undecided.

Americans overwhelmingly support the infrastructure bill Biden is about to sign, but they are split on the more expensive and further-reaching "Build Back Better" act being debated in Congress. Only 1 in 4 say the bill's provisions would help them and their families.

Danchenko, 43, was a key figure in the compilation of the infamous Steele dossier that led to the now discredited investigation of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 presidential race. But Danchenko, a Russian emigre living in the U.S., seems unlikely to be the Durham investigation’s apex defendant. In fact, Durham describes him at points more like a shill than a spy, an “investigator” who was fed what to report by Clinton operatives such as Dolan.". . .

Durham's latest indictment: More lines drawn to Clinton's campaign  Durham is known as a methodical, apolitical and unrelenting prosecutor. Thus far, his work seems to betray a belief that the FBI got played by the Clinton campaign to investigate the Trump team.

We can expect the left to deny the diary is real and perhaps even suggest it’s “Russian disinformation,” which is what they said about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Twitter even went so far as to boot the NY Post off their platform for running that story. The laptop, which contained incriminating pictures of Hunter Biden smoking crack and having sex with prostitutes, was eventually determined to belong to him.

  Diary Allegedly Belonging to Ashley Biden Reveals Disturbing Personal Details . . ."An entry in the diary mentions the author’s father and how worried he was about an upcoming debate. And there are two entries where the author mentions her own name—Ashley Blazer Biden.

And on a lighter note: President Joe Biden let out a long, loud fart while speaking with the Duchess of Cornwall at the COP26 summit.  ..."The pair were making small talk at the global climate change gathering in Scotland last week when the president broke wind, according to an informed source that spoke to The Mail on Sunday.

 “It was long and loud and impossible to ignore,” the source told the outlet.

Tiffany Cross and Joy Reid Double Down on Obsessive Hatred for Winsome Sears

Townhall   As Matt and columnist Brad Slager have covered extensively, MSNBC has just been full of God awful takes when it comes to the results of the statewide Virginia election races from Tuesday. Granted the network typically has its own terrible agenda to push, but its hosts were particularly fixated this week on their hate for Lieutenant Governor-Elect Winsome Sears, who was just elected the first woman and first Black woman to the position. The two hosts who stood out the most were Tiffany Cross and Joy Reid, who couldn't seem to stand that a fellow Black woman might disagree with them on politics.

"Many are highlighting an exchange on Thursday night's episode of "The ReidOut," during which Reid smiled brightly and nodded along while guest Michael Dyson discussed what he referred to as "white supremacy by ventriloquist effect." He went on to note that "there is a black mouth moving but a white idea running on the runway of the tongue of a figure who justifies and legitimates the white supremacist practices," when it comes to Sears.". . .

The New Jersey trucker who defeated the Senate president is now getting smeared as “racist, Islamophobic, transphobic, and anti-Semitic.”

"It was to be expected that Steve Sweeney, the New Jersey State Senate president who lost to a trucker would miraculously find 12,000 “uncounted” ballots after the election that he’s certain will favor him. This is the regularly occurring miracle of the Democrat and has been going on for as long as I can remember. Remarkably, these late-found ballots never work in Republicans’ favor. Go figure….

"Something else happened after the election, which we should have expected too: We’re now learning that Edward Durr, the Republican who won the election and whom nobody bothered to investigate before the election, is a hater. Yes, he is, at least according to NJ.com (“Newly elected GOP state senator’s social media accounts contain xenophobic, anti-Muslim posts”).

"That story is behind a paywall, but the Daily Mail repeats it in an article claiming Durr is responsible for “Racist, Islamophobic, transphobic and anti-Semitic posts.” You know that, if the Daily Mail is reporting it, this is the smear that Democrats have decided to use against him.

"Since I know how antisemitism ended the last time it got out of hand, there’s no better way to turn me against someone than to point out that the person is responsible for anti-Semitic statements. Incidentally, I do not count ignorant statements or statements of dislike as automatically amounting to deadly antisemitism. Forty years ago in England, a young man who’d never met a Jew asked me, “Aren’t all Jews rich?” He came from a place of ignorance and was genuinely surprised when I explained that was a stereotype. Nor do I demand that people love Jews. My standard is simple: You may not stir up genocidal racist hatred against Jews based upon lies." . . .
