They are vulnerable to disease; to “fear itself;” to malignant and tyrannical politicians capitalizing on disease and fear; to the disruption of its political systems; and now, with the year almost over, there’s a stunningly competent bomber out there toying with us.
"Along with everyone else, I am looking forward to 2020 ending. I am dubious, however, that 2021 will be any better – and today’s bombing in Nashville gave the nervous and paranoid among us one more thing about which to worry."
