Adam Carolla goes off on Gavin Newsom & California during GOP midterm convention

"As a life long Californian…I approve this message"

"The Golden Gate bridge would never get done in CA today. The bridge engineers innovated to make the bridge possible. Ever wonder how they got those huge [cables] up on the towers? They invented, built and implemented machines that spun the cables in place. Ever wonder why there's a brick structure under the S end of the bridge? Joseph Strauss, chief engineer, recognized it as a significant pre-civil war fort. He ordered a redesign of the bridge to save this historic structure. These issues alone would have frozen the bridge, just like similar issues delayed the E span of the Bay Bridge 10 years and added 9 BILLION $ to the cost. Just like the 'train to nowhere' has taken 20 years and spent $15 BILLION to not lay any track."
