El-Sayed's clueless answer made strongest case against his own position

Rooke: El-Sayed's clueless answer made strongest case against his own position   . . . "During the interview, El-Sayed was asked how he squares his self-professed pro-Constitution, pro-individual rights views with issues like transgender athletes. His answer was telling, as it exposed a fundamental reason protective parents shield their children from technology.

Douthat: "What about the rights, what about the rights of parents to control over their children's education? Because a lot of places where there's tension between Islam and Muslim voters and what I'm calling cultural liberalism are around issues like what is taught in school? What happens with transgender kids on sports teams and so on, right? Like, these are places where rights are in conflict, right? What do you think happens there?"

El-Sayed: "The whole world, all the world's information in your pocket. The notion somehow that you are going to prevent your child from being exposed to something that you may find disagreeable, and that that is going to be because of school, is so profoundly outdated because, of course, you have all the information and they have all the information. So here's the thing about it. I think it's really important for us to recognize that the free flow of information is actually a beautiful thing. It's really important, and the most important thing you can do is not try to protect a person from seeing a thing. It's about trying to make sure that as you coach your kid through the world that you are engaging with them and saying, 'Here's what I believe. Here's what you may see in the world. You get to make your choices about who you're going to be in the world.' But that's going to require us to make do with the fact that, like, the internet is a real thing." . . .Open the Youtube video

Lifelong Democrat voting Republican as Abdul El-Sayed fear keeps him ‘up at night’

Diplomat who cheered suicide bombing that killed 241 US Marines just attended El-Sayed banquet  . . . "Charara's other posts include praising a drone attack on American soldiers at Al-Tanf base in Syria that occurred in 2021, for which Iran and Hezbollah were said to have been responsible.

"In October, Charara attended the Arab-American Civil Rights League's annual gala in Dearborn, where he stood for pictures alongside hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian from The Young Turks.

"Why do we tolerate this person in our country?

"And just as importantly: Why would anyone vote for a man who has close ties to a terrorist sympathizer?

"These people are laughing in our faces as they unapologetically, openly condemn us as evil infidels they wish to rule over.

"Michigan is becoming an Islamic state and could elect the first Muslim member of the Senate today." . .  .

Abdul El-Sayed: A Muslim Brotherhood Puppet and a Grave National Security Threat   "On NBC’s Meet the Press last Sunday, host Kristen Welker asked Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed if he would “set the record straight” on his alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

"'No,” El-Sayed quickly replied, before clarifying that neither he nor his family have any ties to the international Sunni Islamist network.

"El-Sayed is lying. The Democratic Senate hopeful is running as the most thinly veiled Trojan horse in American political history — on behalf of the Brotherhood and the Islamism it embodies." . . .

Let us pray the contemptible student reciting her Charlie Kirk poem does not reflect the average American of her generation today, of all days. TD
