Left-wing violence and it's defenders
Colin Ferguson Trial: 1995 A caller to Rush Limbaugh recalled the motives of mass murderer Colin Ferguson:
"When Ferguson was arrested, police found notes in his pockets expressing his hatred of Caucasians, Asians, and "Uncle Tom Negroes." Kunstler and Kuby held that Ferguson's behavior could be tied to a study entitled Black Rage. In this 1968 study, psychologists Price Cobbs and William Grier observed that in order to function in society, African Americans suppress feelings of intense anger over racism. Kunstler and Kuby would try to expand this thesis into a "black rage" defense, arguing that continual racist mistreatment was the catalyst that caused Ferguson's delusions and paranoia to explode into violence.
Critics accused the attorneys of manipulating the sensitive state of race relations in New York in order to excuse the acts of a cold blooded killer. Kunstler and Kuby vowed to press ahead with the "black rage" defense. Their strategy, however, accepted that Ferguson was the killer and that he was mentally unsound. Ferguson rejected both assumptions."
Ron Kuby joined forces with his idol 13 years ago. With Kunstler's death, he's trying to keep legacy alive--and a practice solvent."Kuby shrugged and worked on. He was in Minneapolis to help Qubilah Shabazz, Malcolm X's daughter, beat her murder-for-hire case. He's represented the Arab defendants in the World Trade Center bombing."

If you commit mass murder on innocent American citizens and you hate this country, you may want to hire this man to defend you.

Obama’s Anti-Drilling Agenda
Heritage "President Obama’s oil spill commission will release its long-awaited final report this morning, recommending new government regulations and limits on drilling. These conclusions could shape the future of the oil industry — and impact our nation’s energy policy for years to come."

Official: DHS has not determined any possible ties between Arizona shooter and right wing group
Washington Post "...the Web has been alive with speculation that the Arizona shooter has some sort of ties to a right-wing group called American Renaissance. The primary source for this claim is a Fox News report from yesterday saying that law enforcement had made this determination based on information provided by the Department of Homeland Security.
"But a DHS official tells me that the department has not established any such possibility, undercutting what appears to be the primary basis for this claim."
Westboro Baptist Church plans to protest the funeral of the 9-year-old girl slain in the Tucson shooting.

Constitutionalism
Charles Krauthammer "The most galvanizing example of this expansive shift was, of course, the Democrats' health-care reform, which will revolutionize one-sixth of the economy and impose an individual mandate that levies a fine on anyone who does not enter into a private contract with a health insurance company. Whatever its merits as policy, there is no doubting its seriousness as constitutional precedent: If Congress can impose such a mandate, is there anything that Congress may not impose upon the individual? "
(Updated; his mug shot) Who is Jared Lee Loughner?
Examiner.com "But of great curiosity are his self-described favorites--'Mein Kompf' by Adolf Hitler and 'The Communist Manifesto' by Karl Marx. Loughner was reported to have been in the process of reading Marx's Manifesto at the time of the shooting.
"Even more curious are Loughner's 'heroes.' He mentions by name Venezuelan Communist Hugo Chavez, Latin American Communist mass-murderer Che Guevara, American Socialist revolutionary Saul Alinsky, and even Barack Obama."Call Off the Media Dogs… Loughner Fixated on Giffords Since 2007 Way Before Palin "Democratic operatives planned to exploit the disaster and blame the tea party and Sarah Palin before the victims were identified."

Libel is No Path to a Civil Society
THE TUCSON TRAGEDY "This is a script the left has followed before. Tragedy occurs ... and blame is immediately assigned to the right. Do you remember the assassination of John F. Kennedy? In the hours following the shooting in Dallas the blame was placed squarely on conservative groups. Republican Party offices were vandalized across the country. Later we find out that Lee Harvey Oswald was a communist sympathizer. The Times Square Bomber? That was just a few months ago. And just who did New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg blame for that attempt? Tea Partiers. Later, of course, we discover that the bomber was another follower of the peaceful and serene peace-loving religion of Islam.
"The immediate reaction from our ObamaMedia is nothing short of disgusting. Without knowing any motive of the deranged shooter, the media immediately jumped to the convenient conclusion: He must be a right-winger and it is all the fault of Sarah Palin, Fox News, the Tea Party and talk radio. Here are just a few examples gathered from the coverage throughout the weekend ..." Neal Boortz
Heritage "Unfortunately, some have chosen to use this tragedy for political gain. Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, the Democrat who refused to enforce SB 1070, told FOX News‘ Megyn Kelly this weekend that the shooting was caused by an “atmosphere” created when “one party trying to block the attempts of another party to make this country better. ” In case there is any doubt in your mind who Sheriff Dupnik was talking about, one veteran Democratic operative, who, like Sheriff Dupnik, blamed overheated rhetoric for the shooting, told Politico that President Barack Obama should “deftly pin this on the tea partiers.”" Emphasis added.
Political violence and connections We have removed the excerpt because we have doubts about the Oswald/ ACLU connection. We find no corroborating evidence as yet and there is doubt about the source quoted in this article.
The Left, Not the Right, Owns Political Violence "More recently, we've seen anarchist and communist riots against the WTO in Seattle in 1999, and violent anti-Bush and anti-war protests. In 2007 Leftist playwrights in New York created a stage performance about killing president Bush.
"The politics of the contemporary Left is absolutely intertwined with either tacit or overt support for violence. How dare the left-wing media attempt to pin the actions of a deranged individual in Tucson on the Right! To do so is nothing less than a calumny, a slander, and a blatant hypocrisy."

John Boehner seeks to calm rattled House over Gabrielle Giffords shooting
Politico "What’s at stake is not only substantive — Boehner is seeking to calm the institution in a time of tragedy — but also political: He needs to make sure the Republican Party, whose conservative wing is under fire for its incendiary campaign rhetoric, stays on message. All this must happen while many are still personally coming to terms with the emotions and shock of an assassination attempt on one of its own, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords .
