"This makes his silence on the current war in Israel all the more repugnant.
"As we write, he’s said nothing. But as thunderous as the silence is, it cannot come as a surprise.
"This is the future of the Middle East that Obama, in effect, wanted, fought for and now has achieved: Iran ascendant; nascent normalization between Israel and Arab states in jeopardy; the terrorist group Hamas emboldened and abetted by Tehran to strike viciously against soft targets within Israel.
"Why?
"Because for Obama, a fundamental restructuring of the region was the paramount goal — . . .
Former Adviser to US Ambassador to Israel Calls on Whitmer to Resign After 'Fraudulent' Response to Attacks (resistthemainstream.com) . . ."In an early morning post to social media on Sunday, Aryeh Lightstone, who served as a senior adviser to former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman from 2017 to 2021, took aim at Whitmer for her comments following the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.
" 'I have been in touch with communities impacted by what’s happening in the region. It is abhorrent. My heart is with all those impacted. We need peace in this region,” Whitmer wrote on X, with no mention of Israel."
“She watched this happen in real time. And to watch women and children be kidnapped and raped and murdered, and to not be able to say something? She should resign immediately,” Lightstone said of Whitmer.

And while they smile and cheer and celebrate the kidnapping, murder, and rape of innocents, these protesters prove that the Palestinian movement is motivated by one thing: hatred of Jews. After all, how can you claim that anti-Zionism has nothing to do with antisemitism when gleeful Palestinians are chanting “f*** the Jews” in the streets of New York City?
But we must understand, and Jews in the West must certainly understand, that this ideological rot, this abhorrent virus, this unimaginable disregard for life is not limited to a few thousand maniacs on American streets who happily spit upon the values of the country they claim to call home.
"No, because the disease of antisemitism has taken hold of the American media and government.
"Hosts of MSNBC are actively downplaying or defending Hamas, describing the terrorists as militants while subtly blaming Israel for these attacks.
"And then consider how Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) responded to the Palestinian invasion of Israel and the, again, kidnapping, rape, and murder of innocent women and children." . . .
Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Israel attacks reveal a deeper hatred "Scant days after Hamas launched its brutal attacks on Israel, killing and raping indiscriminately and taking toddlers hostage, the Squad member took to X to denounce . . . the Jewish state.
"She called Israel’s response to the attacks a “war crime” and demanded that Washington oppose it and cut off arms sales to the embattled nation.
"No one should be surprised: Omar (D-Minn.) has made her hostility to Jews plain for years.
"In 2019, she implied that American lawmakers who support Israel had been bribed to do so by AIPAC with a tweet saying “it’s all about the Benjamins baby.” In 2012, she tweeted “Israel has hypnotized the world.”
"When called on this, she claimed in her defense that “I certainly did not or was not aware that the word ‘hypnotized’ was a trope. I wasn’t aware of the fact that there are tropes about Jews and money.”
"Right.
"She’s also equated Israel with the Taliban, tried to block funding for Israel’s anti-rocket Iron Dome system and co-sponsored legislation officially describing Israel’s founding as a “catastrophe.' ” . . .
"Israel war 2023 Ilhan Omar stokes outrage with plea against sending US weapons to back ‘war crime’ in Israel "In her hypocrisy, she has much in common with fellow Squad members.
"Like Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib, who issued a statement Sunday attacking Israel and refusing to condemn Hamas. (Tlaib also once notably said that the thought of the Holocaust inspired a “calming feeling” in her.)" . . .
