"As we’ve noted here before, we do not oppose immigration. But, as with everything else, immigration is governed by laws, rules and principles. Unfortunately, when it comes to immigration, Biden simply ignores the law and instead uses presidential command in its place.

"The result: chaos on our border and, increasingly, on our streets as city after city suffers from rising illegal immigrant crime. And it’s going to get worse.

"Already, an estimated 7.4 million illegal immigrants have made their way into the U.S. during Biden’s presidency. That doesn’t include the nearly 2 million “gotaways” who were spotted by border officials crossing the border, but didn’t get nabbed.

“ 'These numbers are further proof of President Biden and (Department of Homeland Security) Secretary Mayorkas’ radical commitment to open borders, and the secretary’s high crimes and misdemeanors committed to make them a reality,” House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green said in a statement on Monday.

"Among the “gotaways” this month making crime news were a 24-year-old Guatemalan male who allegedly raped a minor in Massachusetts and another from El Salvador charged with rape and murder a mother of five in Maryland. A 24-year-old Ecuadorian arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl in New York was caught crossing the border but released into the U.S.

"Open-border advocates claim this proves nothing. But that’s not true. None of those crimes would have taken place if our border controls had been enforced.

"And an even greater threat, sooner or later, will be terrorists with ties to ISIS, such as those who earlier this month were arrested, and cartel members like those that, as NBC News put it in a story three years ago, “capture, extort and torture” those trying to cross the border.

"It’s getting uglier by the minute. Britain’s Daily Mail recently ran a map purportedly showing “America’s Migrant Gang Invasion,” including cartel members, gang-bangers, ISIS followers, sex traffickers and other unsavory types. All from Biden’s open border." . . .

"After that, they got the hooks in in the post-war South and ended Reconstruction and all the progress for black people that came of it, no more 40 acres and a mule. They instituted Jim Crow laws, claiming separate but equal access to public facilities, and then things got worse when Democrat President Woodrow Wilson reinstated segregation in the military and made life more hellish for black people across the board. He was after all, a commited racist with an academic superiority complex.

"After that, Democrats led the charge against the Civil Rights movement. It's not for nothing that Martin Luther King, Jr. was a lifelong Republican.

"And as if that wasn't bad enough, they foisted the Great Society onto the impoverished, including those they impoverished, such as black people, breaking up the black family, marginalizing fathers, and replacing heads of households with the government.

"And that's why he is pulling out all of the stops to derail The Homelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft Reduction Act, a proposition that recently qualified for the November 2024 ballot and aims to fix Prop 47.

"Newsom's administration, along with Democrat supermajority leaders in Sacramento, have drafted a slate of supposed public safety bills that are going through the legislative process with the aim of confusing voters so they'll think that the initiative isn't needed:

Steve Maviglio is a Democratic strategist who said that while this tactic may be unpopular, it can be effective for Democrats concerned that the ballot initiative would lead to a return of mass incarceration in the state.

"A poison pill in legislation is designed to essentially kill something that they don't like," Maviglio said. "The goal is to confuse voters so they vote no."

"However, any legislation passed can simply be undone next year when the Democrats will still have a comfortable majority (and could possibly retain the supermajority). If the Fix Prop 47 initiative is passed by voters, the legislature can't change its provisions, so it's a permanent and public L for Newsom." . . .

Brian Tyler Cohen, an MSNBC “News” contributor and podcast host of an ironically named show called “No Lie,” decided to gaslight America by sharing a photo yesterday that he claims shows Trump being escorted off the stage.

"The incident supposedly occurred during a Trump rally in Hialeah, Florida, in November 2023.

" 'Here is a photo of Trump having to hold someone’s hand to guide him off stage,” Cohen wrote. “I’m sure this will get just as much coverage as the daily “BiDeN oLd” story gets.”. . .

. . ."But then a video emerged showing what actually happened. It turns out Trump was shaking hands with his eldest son, Don Jr., before exiting the stage without assistance." . . .
