Earlier, while discussing the potential Paramount-Warner Bros. deal, Brooks said, “I don’t know Bari Weiss particularly, but I support what they’re trying to do. I think it’s time to mix up the media, that we got a little too progressive, a little too elite, and if Bari Weiss can change the mindset, all power to her. But if this is being done for lobbying and business, which it sure looks like it is, then that’s real deterioration in the business we’re in.”

Trump's Way of War
"But Trump, with help from Israel, finally revealed the theocracy to be a Keystone Kop kleptocracy. The mullahs screamed "Death to America!" but it was Trump's America that finally brought death to them."
"War is the use of arms to settle differences – tribal, political, religious, cultural, and material – between organized groups. It is unchanging. The general laws of armed conflict stays immutable, given the constancy of human nature.
"However, the manner in which war is conducted remains fluid. New weapons, tactics, and strategies elicit counterresponses in an endless cycle of tensions between defensive and offensive superiority.
"That said, has President Donald Trump introduced a novel way of waging Western war against America's foreign enemies?
"We saw glimpses of it during his first term, when he eliminated Iranian general and terrorist kingpin Qassem Soleimani and ISIS terrorist grandee Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. In the former case, he preferred hitting the cause rather than the effects of Iranian terrorism in Syria and Iraq, while making it clear that he had no intention of striking the Iranian mainland and entering into a tit-for-tat "forever war."
"In large part, he was successful. Iran never quite replaced the venomous Soleimani. And despite tired threats, its performative art responses did not kill any Americans, and they were seen by Trump as venting and not worth a counterresponse."In the case of the killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Trump likewise went after the catalyst of ISIS terrorism. But he also bombed ISIS into near nonexistence in Iraq, since, unlike Iran, it lacked the financial and material resources of a state sponsor of terror, and it had no independent ability to make weapons or finance its terrorism.
"In 2018, Trump probably killed more Russian ground troops (more than 200?) than America had during the entire Cold War, with his furious response to the Wagner Group assault on a U.S. Special Operations base near Khasham, Syria. Yet the defeat of Russian mercenaries also led to no wider conflict.
"In these three cases, Trump successfully portrayed his antagonists as the unprovoked aggressors, employed overwhelming force to eliminate them, and declared them one-off occurrences with no need to punish the ultimate source or sponsor of the aggression with further force, and he was largely successful in limiting subsequent attacks on American installations." . . . Breaking: Noem Out As Trump Names New Secretary of Homeland Security
Bob Hoge – RedState We will miss him in the Senate hearings.
. . . "Although Trump praised Noem in the post, it’s been widely rumored for months that he wasn’t entirely pleased with her performance.
There were reports that Kristi Noem, the former South Dakota congresswoman and governor who has led President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security thus far in his second term, was ousted from her position on Wednesday.
President Donald Trump announced his he will nominate Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., to replace her on Truth Social.
Noem, 54, will likely be at least temporarily replaced by Deputy Secretary Troy Edgar, a Navy veteran and former mayor of Los Alamitos, California, in the line of succession for the agency.
"Although Noem was a key part of the successful efforts to stop the tsunami of illegal alien crossings we saw under Biden, the president was reportedly displeased with some of the optics in the Minneapolis ICE raids and by her recent congressional testimony
Meanwhile, reports surfaced Thursday that Trump is "furious" with Noem over her performance in bicameral Judiciary Committee hearings this week, particularly over a contract for an advertisement that Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., and others grilled her on.
Trump reportedly took issue with her suggesting to Kennedy that he approved a taxpayer-funded ad subcontracted to a firm connected with her inner circle, according to National Review…
"Mullin, meanwhile, is known for his sometimes fiery questioning in Senate hearings. He is Native American and only the second Cherokee citizen ever elected to the Senate." . . .
Here's What Caused Trump to Fire DHS Secretary Kristi Noem
"President Donald Trump is privately furious with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for suggesting in her Senate Judiciary Committee testimony on Tuesday that he gave advance approval of a taxpayer-funded $220 million ad campaign contract that was subcontracted to one of her allies, National Review has learned.
The president is frustrated that the embattled cabinet secretary repeatedly suggested under oath that the president was aware of the multi-million-dollar ad campaign — which featured Noem prominently — and approved its release before the agency greenlit the contract, according to a source familiar with the president’s thinking. Are Democrats that Stupid or Just Gas Lighting the Public?
Larry Horst; The Punching Bag Post
"That same language used by Tehran, China, Russia. In their irrational hatred of Trump, Democrats make common cause with America’s mortal enemies. As I said in a previous commentary, these Democrats are reprising the role of Tokyo Rose, the voice of anti-American propaganda in World War II."
Muslim Brotherhood Needs to Be the Next Target After Iran's Mullahs
Khaled Abu Toameh; Gatestone Institute
"The Muslim Brotherhood's reaction to the US-Israeli attack on the Iranian regime includes an appeal to Muslims to rise against the US and Israel. This call should be treated by the US and the rest of the West as a declaration of war by the Muslim Brotherhood."
"The Muslim Brotherhood, a transnational Sunni Islamist organization aiming to institute sharia-based governance, has come out against the US-Israeli military operation targeting the Shiite Iranian regime, despite the Sunni-Shia divide that originated in 632 CE over who should succeed Islam's Prophet Mohammed.
"Sunnis, who make up 90% of Muslims, believed leaders should be elected by consensus, chose Abu Bakr as caliph. Shias believed leadership should follow Mohammed's bloodline, specifically via his cousin and son-in-law, Ali.
"In a statement published on March 1, Professor Mahmoud Hussein, acting "general guide" of the Muslim Brotherhood, wrote:
"The Muslim Brotherhood affirms that the policy of arrogance and dominance pursued by the U.S. administration, along with the Zionist arrogance seeking to impose a new reality in the region in which the Zionist entity becomes the dominant power, is a rejected policy, and that the peoples will prevent the implementation of this scheme. The group condemns the recent Zionist and American attacks on Iran, which threaten the security of the region and open the door to conflicts among its countries....
"The group stresses the necessity for Arab and Islamic peoples, the peoples of the free world, and all international and regional institutions to assume their role in confronting the increasing Zionist recklessness, declaring rejection of the policy of arrogance pursued by the U.S. administration, and working to spare the region the calamities of war...."
"This statement shows that the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian regime share anti-Western and anti-Israel sentiments.
"The Muslim Brotherhood is no less dangerous than the Iranian regime. While banned as a terrorist organization in some Arab countries, it maintains a presence in the Middle East and operates through networks and affiliates in Western countries through various organizations, think tanks and charities that promote its Islamist ideology." . . .More...
Gavin Newsom’s Cowardly Foreign Policy
The American Spectator | USA News and Politics
"If Newsom wants to jump on Democrats’ new focus on affordability, he’s going to have a problem. California ranks last in the nation for cost of living and housing
"As the Trump administration bombs Iran at will, doing much to eliminate the threat to the world posed by the evil Islamic Republic’s terroristic military apparatus, Gavin Newsom has responded to the U.S.’s attack with simpering cowardice. He has issued an automatic denouncement of the war, describing it as “illegal” and “dangerous.” (RELATED: The Democrats’ Epic Fury Over Iran Strikes)
He gave no thought to the decades of terror and violence that have issued from Tehran, or to the murderous regime’s absolute dedication to developing nuclear weapons and even intercontinental ballistic missiles, no matter the devastating sanctions that mission put on Iran’s people. He also spared no thought to the operation’s immediate success, including the ease with which the U.S. and Israel have gained air superiority over Iran, the 40 Iranian officials wiped out in a single act, and the extent to which the Iranian military has been extraordinarily damaged after just a few days of bombing. (RELATED: Ten Thoughts on Operation Epic Fury and Its Aftermath)
"Instead of, as a leading presidential candidate should do, considering the merits of the U.S.’s action to help the Iranian people (who just had 36,000 of their own slaughtered by the regime), contemplating how weakening Tehran could do much to promote freedom in the Middle East, and examining what actions are in the best interest of the security and prosperity of the United States, Newsom quickly settled on Trump did it, so it’s bad. (RELATED: The Women Who Would Not Kneel)
"Newsom gave only a cursory comment that the Iranian regime is no good: “The corrupt and repressive Iranian regime must never have nuclear weapons. The leadership of Iran must go.”
"But he quickly gave a strong caveat: “But that does not justify the President of the United States engaging in an illegal, dangerous war that will risk the lives of our American service members and our friends without justification to the American people.” More...
Ignorant or devious? Gavin Newsom bets antisemitism is the Democratic Party's future "Gavin Newsom endorsed the lie Tuesday that Israel is an “apartheid” state — a damning sign of where the Democratic Party is headed, and how far it’s already sunk.
"At an event promoting his new book, the California governor said Israel’s critics are “appropriately” calling it an “apartheid” state — i.e., a knockoff of South Africa’s old segregationist regime."This is a lie — one so egregious that many deem it a form of antisemitism.
"Apartheid South Africa denied blacks the vote and forced them to endure separate hospitals, separate schools, and even separate bathrooms.
"Arabs, 20% of Israel’s population, vote and serve in the government and even the military; there is no segregation whatsoever between Jews and Arabs." . . .
"Whether he’s a bigot or just a shameless cynic, from here on out he merits nothing but contempt if he dares say a word about peace, human rights or tolerance."
The Incredibly, Unacceptably Weird James Talarico; James Talarico and Jasmine Crockett are thoroughgoing nutbags.
The American Spectator | USA News and Politics
"Watching from next-door Louisiana, I’ll confess to a certain amount of heartbreak at the implosion of Jasmine Crockett in Texas’ U.S. Senate Democrat primary race.
"We don’t give poor Jasmine the due amount of love and credit for the true treasure she is. There may not be a more perfect specimen for the entitled fraudulence the modern Democrat Party is built on, other than perhaps Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib. But Tuesday night, following weeks and months of disqualifying statements cheered on by the “Yass, Queen” chorus among the Hard Left, Crockett’s political career ended with a thud.
. . . "And whether it’s Cornyn’s establishment-RINO brand or Paxton’s closet full of skeletons (there’s old dirt from those corruption allegations and fresher dirt from his recent divorce), either way the race might well turn on Talarico’s electability.
"Which, despite what you will hear ad nauseam, is not all that great.
"He’s been described as a more buttoned-down version of O’Rourke, which is to say he’s more boring than the outrageously fraudulent Beto was. But James Talarico is, to put it as succinctly as I can manage, a thoroughgoing nutbag.
"Here’s one of the least offensive things he says. I’m including a full clip here, because what you’ve probably seen or heard is his statement that the border ought to be a welcome mat. It isn’t quite as terrible as that, as you’ll see:"
"It’s almost reasonable, right up to the point where Talarico spews out the tired “comprehensive immigration reform” line." Video
Nobody in Texas who isn’t a hardcore Democrat is fooled by that anymore. Trump proved by shutting down the border that the system wasn’t broken — it was the deliberate sabotage of the system by his predecessors that left the border wide open to an invasion by the Third World. And while he might not like the optics of ICE’s actions in Minnesota, he’s awfully out of touch with what’s happening locally in Texas.
And look at what Crockett tried to do to Melania Trump!
America got a 'threefer' last night: 3 Trump haters went down in a ball of flames... - Revolver News "Sometimes politics actually delivers good news.
"Today is one of those days.
"Last night a trio of obnoxious Trump-hating voices went down in flames during their primaries. These anti-America first losers got a very clear message from voters: you’re done.
"Texas decided it had seen more than enough from these three."One of the sweetest moments of the night came when Republican RINO Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a man who has a feverish hate for all things MAGA, got smacked in his primary. For years, Crenshaw has had more in common with the left than the voters who actually sent him to D.C. Seeing Texas voters finally say “that’s enough” was sweet revenge.
"In the end, of course, Dan tried to pretend he was “MAGA” all along, which is a joke, and voters knew it." . . .

O'Rourke: 'Texas Will Save the Country' When Talarico Wins
Wednesday on MS NOW’s “The Briefing,” former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) said “Texas will save the country” when Texas State Representative James Talarico (D) wins the Senate seat in November.
"O’Rourke said, “When James Talarico wins in November, he will be the 51st vote in the US Senate. Texas will save the country.” MSNOW! Of course!
Nancy Guthrie Update: “Really Big Mistakes" Were Made
"Authorities have stated the investigation has prompted thousands of tips since the footage was released. Detectives are reviewing those leads while keeping some details confidential to protect the case."
"Investigators searching for missing Arizona woman Nancy Guthrie may already have important clues about the suspect. A former FBI profiler believes the person responsible seems to have made a “big mistake.”
"The 84-year-old disappeared from her home in the Catalina Foothills area near Tucson on Jan. 31. Authorities think someone entered the property during the night and kidnapped her. The case quickly gained national attention because Guthrie is the mother of NBC Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie.
"As investigators continue to examine evidence, retired FBI profiler Jim Clemente stated that the suspect’s actions around the home may have provided investigators with valuable leads.
“That’s a really big mistake,” Clemente said about the suspect appearing on camera near the property, according to Men’s Journal.
"Security footage released by investigators shows a masked person outside Guthrie’s home around the time she vanished. In the video, the individual approaches the house and appears to tamper with a camera before moving closer to the property.
"Even if a suspect hides their face, Clemente said, investigators can still gather useful information from video evidence. Body shape, height, posture, and even the way someone walks can help identify a suspect.
"Clemente also noted another possible error visible in the footage as a tattoo can be seen on the suspect’s arm. If investigators can confirm that detail, it could serve as an important identifying mark." . . . More...
Savannah Guthrie spotted at TODAY studio as NBC confirms she WILL return to air | Daily Mail Online "Savannah Guthrie returned to the Today Show studio for the first time since her mom Nancy was abducted from her home more than a month ago, as her studio says she plans to return to the air.
"The host was seen in images first revealed by TMZ hugging staff and crew at the studio in Manhattan, New York City on Thursday morning.
"NBC told the Daily Mail in a statement that Savannah plans to return to the air eventually, but her visit on Thursday was 'to be with and thank her TODAY colleagues.' . . .
Karens for Khamenei; How Trump Derangement turned feminist icons into mullah defenders.
"The rest of us, meanwhile, will keep cheering every crater in Natanz and Fordow. Because some of us still believe that protecting women means destroying the regimes that enslave them—not protesting the people who finally had the courage to do it."
"For decades, the American Left’s loudest voices on women’s issues styled themselves as fearless guardians of peace and equality. They chained themselves to fences at nuclear bases, waved “No Nukes” signs during the Reagan years, and lectured the rest of us about the patriarchy while demanding the Equal Rights Amendment and unfettered abortion. Jane Fonda, the original celebrity activist, was at the forefront—Vietnam-era traitor turned fitness-video feminist turned Trump-hating scold. These women claimed moral high ground on nuclear proliferation and women’s rights.
"Then Donald Trump happened.
"The moment Trump descended the golden escalator in 2015, something snapped. Suddenly, the same women who once warned that Ronald Reagan’s defense buildup would end civilization found themselves marching in pink hats, screaming about “pussy grabs,” and declaring the 45th president a greater threat than any foreign dictator. Their feminism didn’t evolve; it mutated into a cult of anti-Trumpism so total that it now requires them to defend the indefensible.
"Fast-forward to today. Israel and the United States have finally done what sane people have long demanded: crippled Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Precision strikes have turned enrichment facilities into smoking craters, setting back the ayatollahs’ apocalyptic bomb by years. Any rational feminist should be cheering. Iran’s regime is the planet’s leading sponsor of terror, executes women for “improper hijab,” and has openly vowed to wipe Israel off the map. Destroying its nuclear capability should be a victory for every woman who values her own skin.
"Instead, the former nuclear freeze crowd is in the streets protesting the destruction of the Iranian nuclear program. Leading the charge? Jane Fonda herself.
"Welcome to the age of the Karens for Khamenei." . . .
. . . "Real Iranian women risk their lives tearing off hijabs and chanting “Woman, Life, Freedom.” They are beaten, imprisoned, and hanged for the crime of wanting basic dignity. Meanwhile, Jane Fonda—safe in her California mansion—poses for cameras in front of “Protect Iran” banners. The same woman who once sat on an anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi now effectively sits on the side of the regime that would stone her for wearing the wrong outfit." . . .
